These terms are an agreement between you and The Barberrics LLC (a California limited liability company), which operates https://thebarberricsbarbershop.com and the barbershop at 2515 W. Beverly Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640. By using this site or booking an appointment, you agree to them.
1. Who Can Book
You must be at least 18 years old to book an appointment through this site. If you are booking on behalf of someone else, you are responsible for the appointment and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
2. Booking an Appointment
Booking a time through this site holds a chair with the barber you selected. We will confirm by email, by text, or both, depending on the contact details and preferences you gave us.
Some barbers approve booking requests personally. If you book with one of them, your booking is a request until the barber confirms it: you will first see that your request was received, and you will be told when the barber confirms it. Your time is held while the request is pending.
We do our best to honor every booking, but a barber may occasionally need to reschedule because of illness, emergency, or an appointment running long. If that happens, we will contact you as soon as we can.
3. Cancellations and No-Shows
We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. A chair held for someone who does not arrive is time a barber cannot fill.
We do not charge a cancellation or no-show fee. We do not collect payment or card details when you book, so there is nothing for us to charge.
That said, we reserve the right to decline future online bookings from anyone who repeatedly misses appointments without notice. If that applies to you, you are welcome to call the shop to arrange a visit.
4. Payment for Services
Services are paid in person at the shop, directly to your barber, who will tell you which payment methods they accept. No payment is collected when you book online.
5. Prices
Prices shown on this site are current as of the date displayed and may change. The price you pay is the price in effect at the time of your visit. If a price changes materially between booking and your appointment, we will tell you before any work begins.
6. Product Purchases
Products bought through this site are sold by The Barberrics LLC and checked out through Shopify. Shipping, pickup, returns, and refunds are covered by our Shipping & Returns policy.
7. Our Services
Barbering results vary depending on hair type, hair condition, and what you ask for. We will talk with you about what is achievable before we start.
You must tell your barber about any allergies, skin sensitivities, or scalp conditions before service begins. We use grooming products that contain fragrances and other common ingredients. We cannot be responsible for a reaction we were not told about.
8. Reviews
After a visit we may email you a link to review it. Reviews are tied to a real appointment: the link is the only way to leave one, and each appointment can be reviewed once. When you submit a review, you give The Barberrics LLC permission to display your rating and comment on this site, along with your first name and the first initial of your last name.
We do not edit reviews. We may hide a review, for example because it is abusive, and when we do we record the reason. We may also post a public reply to a review.
9. Your Conduct
We ask that you arrive on time, treat our staff and other customers with respect, and follow reasonable instructions from shop staff. We may refuse or stop service for behavior that is abusive, threatening, or unsafe.
10. This Website
We provide this site as-is. We work to keep information accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Content on this site belongs to The Barberrics LLC and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Barberrics LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or from our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and both you and we consent to that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the version in effect when you booked is recorded with your appointment.
